12 Nov Major Updates to AFK Policy & Bot Features – Dynamic Channels, Enhanced Stats, and More!
Improved AFK Rules, Smarter Stats, and Flexible Channels to Enhance Your TeamSpeak Experience
Hello everyone! We're excited to announce several updates and improvements to our AFK policy, bot features, and channel management. Here’s what’s new:
TL;DR
- AFK Policy Update: After 30 minutes of inactivity, you’ll get an AFK flag instead of being moved to an AFK channel. Your rank won’t increase while flagged AFK.
Updated AFK Policy
We’ve made a key change to our AFK policy! The AFK timeout is now set to 30 minutes. However, instead of being moved to an AFK channel, users will now simply receive an AFK flag after 30 minutes of inactivity. This means you won’t lose your spot, but your rank will pause and stop increasing while you’re AFK.
Enhanced TeamSpeak Banner
Our TeamSpeak banner has received a major overhaul! It now uses a dedicated HTTP server to host itself, displaying dynamic information such as:
- User statistics: Check activity summaries for the past 1, 3, and 7 days.
- User counter: See the current and peak user count for the day.
- International clock: Stay on time with a global clock showing various time zones.
- System info: Get a quick look at essential system information.
Rewritten AFK, Online Counter, and Ranking Modules
The AFK, online counter, and ranking modules have been completely rewritten to improve tracking accuracy and performance. The AFK module is now fully localized, supporting multiple languages including English, German, Turkish, Russian, Iranian, Czech, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Hungarian, and Finnish.
New Statistics Module
A brand-new statistics module has been added to track user count data over time, giving us insights to make ongoing improvements based on user engagement.
Dynamic Channels for Flexible Group Sizes
We’re introducing Dynamic Channels, ensuring that there are always two channels available for any size group, from small gatherings (2 players) to larger groups (up to 8 players). This addition provides flexibility, ensuring a more organized and accessible channel structure for any activity.
